Re: UPS "modified" Browning B92
I have found a factory Browning B92 buttstock at Western Gun Parts, in Canada, and have ordered one. They had a few and will pick out one of the better ones to send me. They have had some for a while, but people have gotten a lot of the better ones and fit them to Winchester Model 92's (so they say)...

Re: UPS "modified" Browning B92
Again, I urge anyone who has had problems with UPS to contact your state Attorney General. They are the ones who got the ball rolling for me. Once i receive my check, I I'm going to call the AG and give them a big WELL DONE and Thank You.

Re: UPS "modified" Browning B92
A final note on this subject. UPS just notified me today that they are going to pay the insured amount of my B92. They also said to have the rifle returned to me and use the insurance money to have a new stock made for it. Gee, it only took 4 months to get done what I had asked for in the first plac...

Re: UPS "modified" Browning B92
Guess what?????? After 2 letters from my state AG, I have heard from UPS. They will pay for a replacement stock, probably from Wenig Gunstocks as they are about 20 miles from me. I will have to take it to Wenig and have them give me a written estimate to submit to UPS. Wenig does great work and it w...

Re: UPS "modified" Browning B92
I don't know the force needed to break it, but I'm sure that it would not have broken if handled in a "normal" way. I feel it got caught in a log jam on a belt or was sticking out of a container and got broken during shipping. Still waiting to hear from the complaint I filed with my state'...

UPS "modified" Browning B92
What do you think of my "Wanted, Dead or Alive" modified Browning B92 357mag???? This was done at "no charge, no pay the insured amount" by the UPS. I've been fighting them since the last of April and just filed a complaint with my state Attorney General. If needed the next step ...

Beware if you ship anything UPS
Please excuse my rant, but I have to blow off steam. On April 20th I shipped a Browning B92 357 mag. to TNTBigBore via UPS insured. It was put in a gun case and enclosed in a heavy firearms shipping box I got from a local dealer. Newspapers were packed tight around the case, between it and the box s...

Re: Browning B-92, 357 magnum
This was the butt stock, of the B92 going to TNTBigBore, that UPS destroyed. It was in a case, inside a box that a local dealer had received a rifle in, packed with newspapers (tightly packed) on all sides. http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k10/ema567/100_3855.jpg I haven't seen the gun as of yet an...

Here before long you might contact my local UPS. The one I sold TNTBigBore arrived in several pieces (buttstock all busted up) and not sure about any other damage. Deal with him with full confidence.

I have their IWB for my ruger 50th Anniv. 357 single action. It has enough "snug" to retain the gun, but not too much to hamper the draw. I carry this rig quite often, in place of my 4" Service Six.

New government math, that's all it is.
1/2 = 9/18
1/3 = 6/18
1/9 = 2/18
Total comes to 17/18, not a whole number.

Humor: Dividing late father's herd of 17 horses
A father had passed away, leaving his 3 sons a herd of 17 horses. The eldest son was to get 1/2 the herd. The second son was to get 1/3rd of the herd. The youngest son was to get 1/9th of the herd. As they sat on the corral fence, arguing about who was to get what, a neighbor came riding up. Afterin...

I can vouch that it's a shooter. Youngest son dropped a medium sized doe, at about 45 yards, with a shot to the base/left side of her neck and exited midway rightside of her rib cage. The 158gr. HP made a mess of her insides and she was DRT.

Thats it, Ben. I couldn't tell that it was brazed, but can see the cut in the barrel which is why I thought it was removeable. I have been painting the front, flat part of the blade, but since it's not groved the paint keeps chipping off. I guess I'll just have to keep touching it up. Serial # is 03...

I don't mind the flat blade, it's a little thin to suit me, but I have tried painting it and the paint will not stay on well. The front is not groved and it chips off easily. I would like t...

Hagler, my front sight is just like the one you showed, but the blade is not pinned in. The base and blade are one piece, with a dovetail on the base. Replacement front sight for Browning B92 357 mag
I have a Browning B92 357 mag with a 3/8 dovetail front sight. The blade is thinner than I like and I am looking to replace it with a Marble's or William's front sight. My question is, do the Marble's or William's front sights have a lip past the front dovetail? With the dovetail cut right at the ba...
