A friend is trying to buy this and was told it was somewhere between 84-86.
Serial number is K-088878 it is a .357, we are just trying to pin down the manufacture date.

Re: Back on the internet, still healing...
It looks pretty banged up, can it be fixed and rideable ? Best I can tell is it is just the forks and clamps. The frame looks straight, but I have to tear it down, measure it and straight edge it. If it is dead I don't know what I will do, either part out what I can and sell the rest for scrap, or ...

I actually lost the front end on gravel in a blind curve, the bike and I slid across the road and into a guardrail (separately).
I had 6 broken ribs and a new plate with 13 screws in my wrist, but I am on the up side now, and will hopefully be back to work in a week!

The mount looks good, one suggestion I would make is to use counter sunk holes and tapered screws. Might help keep it a little more solid.

Anyone have any experiance with Tikas or T/C Icons?
With all the time I have on my hands I have been doing some gun trading. Now I have a shot at a T/C Icon or maybe a Tika, I don't know a lot about either, but it seems the T/C Venture had some bad reviews but the Icon was well received and the Tika is overall liked. Both are .243's, and if I can wor...

Most drip coffee makers do not get hot enough, they run 160-180. Coffee is best brewed at 200 degrees, the flavor really comes out of the grounds. My favorite way to brew is a french press, every coffee drinker I know that has tried coffee out of my french press has started shopping for their own. :D

If you decide to go with the KelTec disassemble and completely deburr all the metal. The KelTec 380 is a great little piece, but their finishing is not always top notch. I am holding it as Hobie said.
When I shoot it feels like the handle is trying to open. The best I can figure is the bolt is moving back and trying to open the lever.
And yes it is a .22, I don't have a secret source for ammo.
