Win 94 forend on a Rossi 92?

Has anyone tried this? I have the skills and the tools for the job, and some fitting is to be expected. However, if there someone that knows of a reason that this is truly impossible I'd like to hear it before I embark on this quest. The reason is I ordered an NRA Centennial Musket forearm with the ...

Re: Light small 44 special wanted

I absolutely love my S&W 396 Night Guard, but the hottest thing I've shot was the Blazer 200gr. HP @ 875fps.

Anything much more would not be pleasant.

Mostly I load a 240gr LSWC @ 750fps.

Re: Winchester 94 Ranger question

The parts gun theory might be right, I just found a pic of a very similar Ted Williams version.

Maybe these were made up with the leftovers after Sears dropped the line.

Re: Winchester 94 Ranger question

It was a newer production gun, low-grade finish, no safety, and in 30-30.

It looked like this one.

Winchester 94 Ranger question

I've seen some of these rifles with a "standard" barrel, and also with an extended barrel that is longer than the magazine tube.

What's the deal with the longer ones, were they just trying to do something that looked different to catch peoples attention?

Re: Half magazine conversion of Rossi M92?

That looks really good Pete.

My original plan was to use a 20", but your modified handguard makes the 16" appear to have decent proportions.

ETA: Did you notice any change in accuracy or POI due to the removal of the upper band?

Half magazine conversion of Rossi M92?

Hi everyone, I did a search but found no topics on this. I'm interested in buying a Rossi in .357 and doing a half mag conversion. I saw an original Winchester down at SAR in Phoenix and it tickled my fancy. Has anyone here done this, and do you have pictures? I have a full machine shop and a pretty...
