Copy writers in advertising often make the biggest salaries. $250,000 is not uncommon for somebody to write dull ad copy for lazer printers, or taglines like "Where's the beef?"

A bittersweet Christmas day

As I type this, my wife has fallen asleep on the couch, my daughter is at her boyfriend's parents house, the dogs are tussling over a bone, and the wood stove is giving welcome warmth. The day didn't start so pleasantly. From the moment a shadow of consciousness appeared in my mind, so did the remem...

About 75% of my online time is here.
I also visit:
Single-actions.com

and most recently...
Relaodersauction.com

I only go to gunbroker when I already know what I want beforehand.

Pinned Smith's.
Full-sized .357 Blackhawks.
.357 Redhawks.
Model 88 in .308.
1895's in .30-40 Krag and .405.
Another Yugo SKS when they were $125-150.
Colt LW Commander.

As for today, I'd say a Rossi or other 92 in .357.

Old Ironsights,

I just visited your link.

I'm going to spend some time there. Hopefully we can help make needed changes using the information it contains. However, I would urge that this be handled with careful purpose and constructively. We don't want to toss the baby with the bath water.

How much does weight matter in you situation? For hunting carry, I'd suggest a 4 or 6" stainless GP100. A really solid gun, accurate, great recoil absorbing grips. Was designed to shoot heavy loads indefinitely. I also like a Blackhawk, but if it's a defensive backup gun, I'd want D/A for follo...
