Re: Happy Reformation Day!

Ysabel Kid sums it up well. No matter which Christian denomination one belongs to, one important to keep in mind is: a house united beats a house divided. And based on some recent events-both here and abroad-there is no better time to remain united. Martin Luther had some really good quotes. There a...

Rifles with crescent buttplates sit in the shoulder nicely and allow the rifle to hang well and allow me to shoot them more accurately. Carbines, especially SRCs are somewhat slippery and are more apt to slide and move around. Love 'em both though!

That might be an idea but probably a PITA finding those measurements. I've milled over this and have pretty much come to the conclusion that the medium height is the best solution. I'll follow up with how things turn out.

I picked up Kimber Model 84M in 223 and wow what a sweet little rifle! Perfect weight, beautiful wood and desirable features like 3 position M70 style safety, controlled feed and claw extraction make it one of the nicest rifles I own. Another question, who makes "aftermarket" 1886 Firing Pins that Malemute mentioned? I'm guessing one from Chiappa or Pedersoli might work but not sure how available they are.
