Slugged my barrels puma is .3573 T/C is .3571. Usually people that say it wont work, have never tried it. Been using the REM 147JHP 9mm bullit in my Puma 357 and T/C 358 Bellm. Theys as accurate as my other 357 dia bullets. They chrono'ed at 1400fps and 2100fps respectively.

Found a LH Abolt in 308W. I realize this is the wrong place to ask for advice on not to buy a rifle. Have a week to think about it. Always wanted a LH bolt and have 1000 308 brass. So why should I not buy it , other than not being a lever?

Was sposed to go to cabin thid weekend and do a lot of shooting and chronying. Only in the 20's in North MN. Didnt want to torture GF so am just running around MN WI and IA going to gunshops and clothing stores. Brother lives in Cheyenne and he said it was a whiteout there! How is your weather?

That explains why the Scheel's in Eau Clare had them marked at $369.99. Nice gun but for that price would rather get a BL22. But if they really arent that popular how come you hardly ever see used ones for sale. Me thinks maybe once yo buy one you like it too much to get rid of.

Yeah, was always drug to the woods to haul the firewood in that the old man cut. It was usually in the 5 to -10 temperatures. He always asked me i wanted to shoot and shiver, or haul wood and stay warm. Really didnt have choice in the answer!! :) and there was discusion in the matter either

32/20 Just got it this morning was 10'bull T/C barrel from AWP101. Nice part is ,it is .308 bore Dont have to buy mold or nothing just brass and dies. Also have always wanted a Ruger No.1 in 458 mag. Dont know why, just one of those itches that dont go away from my 1st childhood

Just bought 2M Federal Large Rifle primers. Can you believe how big the plastic holder tray is!! It also has 2 cutouts to keep primer tray from falling out. :) Was this lawyer mandated, or what is reason for this?

What bulk ammo is the "best" . How are the Federal and and Winchester bulk packs? CCi blazer's I have had real good luck with, Maybe 1 misfire in 1500 rnds. Remington bulk has been awful 2-4 out of 50 wont fire. Its very dirty on top of it.

Yep was going to have contender carbine barrel chambered for it. Was going to use 357 Herrett dies. And keep the case full length 30/30 case necked up. Mike Bellm wil cut chamber and neck length to your specs. Herret dies are real cheap compared to getting 35-30/30 dies. Tho CH4D.com are reasonable ...

Sorry man , nothing can replace a dog. lost mine nov99 and still wake up expecting him to need to go out. He used ride on the back of my bicycle for 10 years. Didnt ride for 18 days afterwards. I keep thinking about all dogs ou t there needing someone to walk them. So I volunteer at animal shelters.

It was a Winchester Low Wall in 44 Mag Had gorgeous wood and was highly polished and in the white, thats why it looked like SS. He also sold early this week.

Taconite pellets. Used to find alot of them by the rr tracks in Duluth and Two Harbors. Remember the Herer's catalogs. They had about 2 pages of wristrockets and slingshots. Even talked about how you could kill deer with one! Wished I had saved 1 or 2 of those old catalogs.

256 WM: have on in T/C 24" bull. 87gr Hornady do 2350fps and blow the begeezers out of pop bootles plus its still accurate to do a 3" inch group at 200 yards. As a plus you can also form it out out of 221,222 and 223 brass.

Have a 22" one. The forend and grip are alot fatter than the CB the CB also balances better but when walking thru woods am glad i went with 22". Just wish it had a full length tube like the CB

We have wood cook stove from early 1900's in our cabin. It makes frozen pizzas, especially Tombstone 4 meat pizzas taste so durn good. Only thing is you have to turn them every 2 minutes,. The upper left corner has a hotspot.

I just bought the last 9 boxes of Winchester SuperX 22 mag 40gr JHP at the 2 Wallyworld supercenters in Rochester,MN and both guys at the counter said they (store) had no intention of getting anymore in. BTW I paid $8.97per box. H elaso said 9mm and 45acp werent on the reorder list either!!

My Henry 22mag love CCI 40gr JHP and FMJ, Hornady 30gr Vmax and Federal 50grSGL. They shoot ragged cloverleafs at 44 yards and they avg 30-80fps faster than ballistic charts show

Anyone live around Sneedville,TN. Drove the semi on Highways 70, 33, 63, and 25W what gorgeous scenery, Also very twisty narrow lanes. Glad i had the trailer tires all the way forward. Weather was was 35-55F, sure was a nice break from Minnesota.

I been shooting a Henry lever for 2 years its great for wandering and shooting. Every load i put thru it has done ragged cloverleafs at 44 yards. It is cool what it does to pop cans and soup cans. Plastic pop bottles with water in them turn into mist. Every load i have shot has done 30-80fps faster ...

Lyman 3rd edition cast handbook list bullet weights from 185gr to 225gr boolits. 185's 5.1 to 8.3 grs. 195's 5.8grs to 8.5grs. 200's 5.8 to 8.4grs. 225's 5.5 to 8.7grs. Start loads averaged 621 to 729fps. Max loads show 943 to 1014fps. Hope this helps.
