I used to say all revolvers are pistols but not all pistols are revolvers but with revolving rifles and shotguns that's not strictly correct but I hate being told by some newbie that only a semi auto is a pistol....

No, my son and his wife have returned from NZ so I'm hoping to move to where they are now in Northumberland. If I was going to move that far I would have gone to Mexico and crossed the border into the US for all the freebies and a chance to vote......

Interesting Bill, when I was at Westley Richards they had a lot of Adams revolvers plus other English and American makes and I had little interest in the English ones, much preferring the American cap n ball revolvers except the Savage, never could take to that, but these last few years I have grown...

Thanks Jay I spoke to my son again tonight and he seems hopeful that things may work out ok, he was even told to get deer caliber rifle as he sold all his guns when he was hoping to move to NZ permanently.

I have not seen that type of revolver but have heard of a Birmingham gunsmith by the name of Hill, the only bottom break revolver I have is a Marlin copy of a S&W .32 rimfire.

As you all know in the UK suppressors/moderators/silencers have always been legal but had to be listed on the firearms certificate, the government are now talking about not even bothering to have them listed... :o I am shocked that the UK government is thinking of doing something useful for gun owne...
