I've had an older G30S for quite awhile. It lives by my nightstand. 230 FMJs are noticeably quieter than other high-pressure rounds. I love my hearing. Love the shooter. My EDC is still a very pocketable LCP.

I hunted blacktail in WA for a few years with a S&W 629 PP 6 1/2 inch. (Ported from the factory....took a bit of the bite out of my 300 grain handloads). I had a Burris Speed Dot on it and at 25 yards it was one ragged hole accurate. I took several grouse with it, but no blacktail.
