180gr Cast Perf. loaded hot shot great in my 4" GP-100 and my 92 Trapper. Used H-110, Starline brass, CCI small pistol mag primers, and an expander .005" smaller than projectile diameter. Tried their 200gr version too and the 180gr was superior. 1886

Hi Chuck, Thanks for the great post. It is easy to tell if the chamber has been opened, simply seat a one of your properly sized projectiles, approx. .380", in W/W .38-55 brass. If it chambers fully, chances are the chamber was opened. 1886.

Try H-110. It is slow enough to show an appreciable gain is velocity from the longer rifle barrel. H-110 likes load density, read compression, neck tension, and CCI mag primers. 1886.
