I tend to go with custom made holsters. It takes longer and costs more but it’s usually worth it.

Actually the ones to blame for chewed wires isn’t the mice. They just do what mice do. The ones to blame are the wire manufacturers. Interesting. I suppose fewer folks drive now than in the fairly recent past. Perhaps some of the fuel stops just couldn’t survive.

Not surprised at all. Two things to consider. The plastic used for drum, particularly the tops is both very dense and much thicker than water jugs. The other is the density if water is much greater than folks think.

In my 20 for HD I load alternatingly slugs and buck. You don't need any of those fancy/expensive slugs. The good old foster slugs are more than sufficient .

I’ve had similar problems with my 39A as well as other.22 lr rifles. I tried several things but found Dawn dishwashing liquid on a chamber brush works wonders.
