I think the Nosler Partitions have their place, but for the 30-30 it may be a bit overengineered for the task at hand. as has been mentioned, the 30-30 doesnt go fast enough to tear up standard type bullets. Hornady has discontinued their "Light" and "Heavy" "Magnum" loadings.
Federal discontinued the High Energy line.
Not a significant difference for twice the price.
Products that sell well usually stick around.

I have the Ruger LCP. It comes with an extender for your ring finger on the magazine.
The Ruger is very easy to shoot and surprisingly accurate. Easy to conceal, too. I carry it in every situation where a G 19 is too big.

One empty spot in the collection is a scoped lever rifle in .30-06.
What brand/model/vintage do I look for? It needs to have a stock designed for a scope, so the cheek weld is tight and low.
