MO Deer Hunt recap!
Well, we are back home after 2865 miles of driving! I should have been a long distance trucker as I love driving over the road. We had an amazing week. Six folks hunting and all got "meat" deer on the first or second day. Then it was on to Buck hunting. The game cameras set up around the p...

Well, I didn't get the 10 pointer. But my two hunting buddies scored big time! I had the bottom deer in my sights, but I had my Thompson Contender pistol and it was 217yds away. Well....Took the old 1906 Winchester Model 94 out on Saturday to fill the freezer with Venison. Not 20 minutes in my stand and a nice tender doe wandered by. One shot with the 32 Special at a measured 114 yards / iron sights and she dropped like a sack of flour. 170g bullet at 1400fps did the job. h...

My 94 take down in 32 Special has a Lyman a tang sight. Unfortunately the little flip down appeture reducer is missing. I'll make a replacement one of these days. I just took a whitetail doe with it at a measured 114 yds! Whole article about it on this link: http://rvbprecision.com/shooting/1894-win...

Chiappa lever action rifles are "A Work In Progress"....You can buy them for very reasonable prices compared to the other options for an 1886. But I'd suggest you know how to work on a 1886/1892 action before you buy one. Before you shoot it, take it all apart and remove all hard edges fro...

Hi Folks! A few months ago I picked up a Winchester 1894 take down in 32 Special. I got it right as it was locked up solid and wouldn't come apart. No, just a cell phone holder with built in USB charge outlet.
I'm researching cell and WiFi boosters. I use a new Sprint Hotspot and no one makes a booster at this new high frequency yet. Might have to wait a while for the "Booster" industry to catch up.

Re: Any electronics geeks here?
I have a medical widget that uses a power adapter from 120v ac and drops it to 6v dc 600ma. What I'm confused about......is why did folks start talking about 9V You can use a power supply that is rated for more amps as long as it Is 9VDC. So a 9V/1000MA or 9V/1500MA supply would work, a 9V/350MA wo...

Re: Any electronics geeks here?
Steve, please stop it. You are mistaken. A car battery can have 500 amps yet you can connect your CB radio to it which draws 2 amps at most. As long as the PS outputs more amps than needed, you are good to go. All electronics are indeed self current regulating. To much voltage will do damage. Not to...

Look for a good video camera tripod with a good fluid head. Hang something heavy from the center hook to stabilize it.
