Their revolvers can occasionally be hit and miss (seen some problems) but being based on S&W designs initially, generally work.

Their autos once they strayed away from the Beretta 92 are mostly miss.

The GI 20s have been out of production for 40 years. The PMag 20s work well. Haven't tried any other aftermarket ones as I have no use for them (my two 20's are for hunting). There are severe restrictions filming kids and especially babies which is why they often use twins (more shooting time).

From what I uunderstand they did the best they could when the baby wasn't cooperating and the crew was ready.

Ive' used them quite a bit.

Also used to work for REI, and sold a ton of them. For their size and cost, not much else beats them for putting out long term light that doesn't take batteries.

One particularly dumb driver went around a barricade, the water wasn't so deep at that point but she lost sight of the road and put it in a deep ditch (also underwater) which was up to windshield level on a full size truck. Boat rescue.

Most people use cheap scopes, and never maintain them. A good quality scope might do it but it is going to take some time. Not a big scoped rifle user (i have a total of one) but I've shot my fair share of very high end optics while on the job (as in, scopes costing $1-7,000, not counting the mounts...

The M134 is interesting to fire, but it definitely needs a mount......

Predator didn't show the power cable leading to the battery powering the gun. :)

I went through a 100 round belt in two bursts with a M134. 3 seconds firing time, total.

Oh I'm aware.. most people think the 47 went into service widespread the same year and all that. Most Nato members have gone to something newer but the G3 and FAL are still seeing service in India Pakistan and South America and Africa in large numbers.

Streetstar, the AK didn't actually reach units until 1949, and it wasn't truly in wide use (as far as anyone knew) until the 1956 Hungarian uprising.

The FAL and G3 both went into service in the mid 50s, so they've only got the AR beat by a decade.

Blaine the burst fives it a horrible trigger in either mode. They tried a technical solution to a training issue. Having shot both types extensively I'll take the full auto.

I've had a GAU-5 (USAF issued CAR-15) fired at me with blanks, indoors, in an exercise, from about 5 yards away. By a supply grunt or whoever playing OPFOR. On full auto. Yeah, I'm acquainted with the noise level.... I've handled an M231, never saw one fired though. The Bradleys lost the firing port...
