Fuel Transport drivers are always spilling a few dribbles of diesel and gas on the boots when you disconnect the loading arm, hard on the stitching around the soles. But I have had great results with Redwings in all other uses around my farm---cutting wood, muddy situations, wetness etc. Good to pay...

I have some .348's, a 300 win, several 45-70's. They all seem powerful to me, but the real surprise of all to me was my fairly new Marlin in 44 mag, a thumper to be sure.!!

Last spring I shot 3 clips through my son-in-laws mint 1918 Browning A2 (Browning Automatic Rifle) He gave 25,000 bucks for that rifle, it fired 20 times in just a couple seconds, awesome.

My LT deluxe, #40XX, has on the left side of reciever in front of hinge the number 7 stamped in the metal, nothing on loading port side. It stands for the number of elk you are supposed to kill with the rifle before you die, I am not there yet
