An acquaintance has a '95 Winchester re-chambered/barrel for 6.5 X 55...sweetest shooting rifle I have ever had the pleasure of shooting. With 140gr bullets, almost no recoil and still slings them out the barrel at +2800 fps.

Just bought up all the 230gr .451 JRN Winchester bullets I could find locally. Small shop in the middle of no where had six bags @18.50 each, bought 'em all. Pretty pricey, but after a couple of weeks hitting gun shows, Cabela's, Gander Mtn, tons of gun shops, and the internet stores (Midway etc)......

Other than to see my children happy and independent, an extended Brown Bear/Moose/Caribou hunt in Alaska. The dream is to do it with my sons and best friends, flying in to a remote area with one guide...maybe two at the most. Do not care if it took months.
