Yes .. same load.. using the dipper with the paper cartridge kit = 40 grains FFFg

Not too long ago my brother-n-law took his own life and gave it back to God. He had been in severe pain for several years and it was getting worse. He had gone from 175 lbs. down to about 95 and could not do much of anything. He used his .22 pistol and did a clean job of it. No mess for the family. ...

Elmer maintained that "Super Blackhawk" was a poor name for the gun and that it should have been called the "Dragoon" which fit as far as I am concerned. For me the grip is much too large and too awkward. If I have any other single action grip than the Colt SAA/Ruger XR3 grip it ...

Ted told me he had some 38 S&W brass when I had asked for a few pieces. I told him to send me 5 or 10 .. whatever he could afford to part with. I am not planning on shooting the old gun that much. So today these show up!

While living in Mozambique, I was visiting back here in States and was given a really nice take-down recurve of 45 pounds draw. I took it and plenty of arrows with me back to Africa and while there I practiced every chance I could. I got to where I could keep my arrows in a 12" circle at 50 fee...

Bill, I know this goes against the grain around this place, but the best groups I've gotten out of my .44WCF Vaquero is with 9 grains of Unique and a 200 gr, JFP. I'll get flamed for this, but sometimes the widely praised and hallowed cast bullet isn't always the answer. Enjoy your new rifle! jb 8)...
