I've had an 1894C for about 4 years and it is my favorite lever-gun. I've never had a single mechanical problem, and the gun feeds any .357 or .38 that I shove into the mag tube. The one item I feel is worth mention is that I did not like the factory sights at all, and it took some time to find sigh...

As I recall, I was in my mid 20's and I was sitting alone in a blind box at the bottom of a hill on my Dad's property in the Texas hill country. My dad had been putting corn down, and I was staring at a pile of it about 40 yards away, thinking about how much my Dad's stand smelled like cigarette smo...

I mean no disrespect to Junior or any other members here who belong to the Democrat party, but this white (light tan actually) male wouldn't vote for a Democrat if they paid me. Even if it was under the table, in used 10s and 20s, tax free, and untraceable. Nope not me. For too long I've watched wh...

There's nothing wrong with trying to make your money back, and there's nothing wrong with selling for as much as you can possibly get. Me, I don't particularly care what another guy paid for it. It's interesting, but unimportant. I only care what I'll pay for it. Money aside, the thing you don't wan...

The right thing to do would have been to tell the business owner the proper and legal way to fly the U.S. flag and give him an opportunity correct his mistake. I'm curious as to whether or not this approach was attempted. I sympathise with the man's indignation at the perceived insult, but damaging ...

We used to fish for Blue sharks off of Elliot's Beach on Parris Island. We'd get a couple cases of beer and 4 of us in a 10 ft. row-boat and go to town. We'd filet those puppies, wrap 'em in foil with some butter, lemon, salt pepper and have a good ol' time. One day after we'd worked our way through...

I hate the thought of selling any of my guns, but I've got a fair idea which ones might go if I had to. Heirlooms and guns that can't be replaced or bought back stay. Guns that are nice to have but that I don't use, go. I'd probably cash in military surplus and EBR's, and all but my most dependable ...
