Yep, I was up to my farm lease this past week end. Scouted to flocks each with about 20 birds. One flock had about 6 polts (spelling) which is way early, but they were there. I got my Mossburg 12 ga. 3 1/2mags ready to go. The season doesn't start here 'till April 12 though.

The proper way to do this is to turn the barrel. I suggest this be done by a good gunsmith as bore throat might need to be readjusted for the cylinder gap.

Laid my levergun down today and took my Sig 229 .40 S&W semi auto to the range. I haven't shot this gun in a couple of years and at 25 yrds. off hand could only hit a ten inch plate about 50% of the time. How bad is this. Let me hear from all you pistol shooters out there.
