Browning BLR in 30-06?

I have no experience with this BLR. Any experience with the takedown version of this caliber in the BLR? I'm interested in accuracy and performance. How are the sights?

Smokeless? , nah , 67.5 grains of Swiss 1.5, .010 card, 500 grain govt lead bullet with SSG lube. Tried and true load for me on game up to buffalo and on targets out a ways.

As far as the spelling, I think, but don't know, it's because that is the way it was "spelt" back in the day

I use Hann tubes in my percussion sharps. Ends are sealed with cigarette paper. Hann tubes can be had in lengths matching chamber size. Process is open breech, drop in and seat lubed bullet, rolled by filled Hann tube. Close breech, cap cock, aim, fire. Repeat often Beautiful rifle for sure. Congrats.

A few years back I was shooting down in Texas through 86er's arrangements with a bunch of levergunners. I took a truck load of guns and ammo down there and took a few head of game off the property. In the 30wcf, I had 170 and 150 grain ammo. I shot a Corsican ram broadside with a 170 hitting the ram...

Carry whatever you choose, so long as you have it always! I love the .45. The 938 has remained hidden day in and day out but always on me...

Chambered in 2 9/16, so I would have to use 2 1/2 inch shells. Article cautions to look at locking lug to make sure it's not c...

Question on model 98 mauser

Anyone seen one done in 12 gauge? I saw one today and it really grabbed my attention. I dint buy it but for 275 I should have. I started my hunting days with a bolt action 20, but the Mauser action and 12 gauge would make a really keel cabin gun for walking the game lands with.
