If you were going to keep it with the calibers in witch you allready have, I would go with a D/A .357. Most likely a 4" or 6" stainless GP100. If you were willing to ad one more caliber I would think a nice 1911.

Glad your feeling better, For trout I use three fly rods, my favorite is a 9' 3wt with a fighting butt built on a fisher blank, the other is a 7' sage, and the last is a 8' 6'' Orvis. All of them ware orvis reels. I have caught countless trout on the two 3wts, and one good salmon on the 9' :D

I have a soft spot for mouse guns, My favorite is my little colt 1903 .32 automatic. While a .22, .25, or a .32 are not my first choice they do have their place in the carry rotation.

A rifle variant marlin 1893 or winchester 1894 in 38-55 is a very accurate weapon, it would probly get my nod. As for the rifle with the most deer to its name it would be a winchester 94 30-30.

Winchester 70, remington 700, ruger 77, and savage 110. All are good rifles, you will be happy with any of them I like the 700 the best but thats just me.
