That really is a nice rig-up. It doesn't wreck the hand carry of a lever. That is the reason I stayed with receiver sights. Nothing hand carries as nice as a traditional lever.

Close enough, there is some controversy about growing or shrinking grizz populations here. I'm in the growing group. For decades a grizzly sighting was a rarity now not so much. Cougar are doing just fine here as well.

My 444 only sees 265 FN Hornady these days. My mold is a 285 grainer but no report yet. I am beginning too think my 70's 444S will not ever see any more than 1800 fps. The Rangers still exist. Colt Canada is designing a new rifle but they continue to use Lee Enfields. The Lee Enfield is sturdy and handles the cold well.

There are more reports of decent quality Remlins popping up on both sides of the border. Still lots of buyer beware posts but it would be nice if the rifle line survives. The Winoku line sells ok it seems at much more money.
