I would think putting good chains on every tire and having fwd would make things a whole lot easier.Or at least studded tires.

Re: Do you shoulder a gun properly?

Alot of guns are not fitted perfect to their body properly. Most guns come to fit everybody as best they can. Some iron sighted rifle stocks are flat to the point you have to mash youre cheek on the stock to see the sights causing the butt to be high on the shoulder. Then some put scopes on a gun an...

With the trees planted in a row it seems it gives you a shooting lane.If not it would be pretty darn thick. I sometimes hunt around citrus groves and you can sneek down the drive rows and peek down through the trees. You can play cat and mouse with coyotes in those rows. Some places there will be 2-...

I would stick with Unique or similar powder. Alittle goes along way. Any properly fitted 158gr hardcast bullet, any standard primers and a pot load of brass.
Simple, should fire decent out of just about anything.

Looks like its .634 '' If you want it you can have it.I put a Boyds stock on my rifle and it sit too flat to use iron sights.I also made thin cuts in the bolt
handle, bent it and welded it up. Then cleaned her up and polished it to look factory.

OI, I bought that front sight mount and had two problems with it. First was the ring is held in place with a set screw. Second is the dove tail the original sight goes in is not a dovetail.
It kind of just wedges in there. If you want the one I have to try Ill send it to you.PM me if you want it.

I would just hunt with the 06.I wouldn't think one shot could do to much since you are hunting and not shooting.Possibly go
with a muzzlebreak or a shoulder brace or combo of the two.

Pete44's method works great! If you are sanding the whole stock down you can fill gouges or holes by laying a bead of superglue in the spot, then while it is still wet sand over and all around that spot with fine sandpaper. The dust mixes with the glue.Only sand a few moments letting the glue dry for ...
