I used to hunt deer in Castleton when I was a teenager. I hunted in the view of Birdseye Mountain to the south of us. Fond memories of a different America.

I commend you on your fiscal decision. Too many people will blindly look at nothing but price. I know it is hard for some but in the end you tend to get a better product. It has been my experience that items from China tend to be shoddy.

As a rule, whitetailed deer bucks drop their antlers in mid January or so. I have been hearing reports that they have dropped already . I am still doing some bowhunting and have seen only bald heads in the woods of RI. I can't tell if they are bucks or not.

I don't believe that the Ruger Old Army is what you would call too modern in appearance or operation. I like the idea that it is the strongest cap and ball revolver out there. I wish that the money wasn't so tight right now,I'd get an extra.
