On the other hand - the engraving and checkering are simply outstanding.

I can't believe manufacturers haven't figured out a quality, cheap way to do this at the factory.

I bought the 1300 20 ga. for my son - cycles like butter and haven't had a problem with it yet.

We probably have ~2500 rounds through it (shooting clays).

I got mine! They are extremely nice. I thought maybe you had gone into 2010 when I 1st opened the package because it was so thick. Turns out the paper is just very high quality -- very thick.

Great work -- worth every penny.

Got lucky today -- an old friend has been hanging onto some Winchesters for me. Turns out one of them is a 25-35 from 1907 that has been refinished (re-blue / wood refinish). Looks like new -- I paid him cash on the spot. He also "loaned" me a 92 in 25-20 - I think it's from 27 -- all orig...

If you don't care about keeping the ammo - sell it -- it will more than cover getting plenty of brass. As for conversions -- I've heard of lots of people trying and never being real happy about them. From what I remember - the Krag case will work better than the 30-30. You should search the 24hr cam...

For me the question has always been "how can I detect unsafe pressures without $50K in detection equipment??" I've never seen a definitive "things to look for" list. I've seen several -- "If you see this -- you're in trouble!" But then they always seem to say something ...

If I remember correctly - the Graf and Sons are reforms (can't remember if it's from 30-30 or krag's). I seem to recall people not liking them much.

I have an H in 303 w/ the barrel band. I'll have to take some pictures with my new camera and post them sometime soon. No factory ammo unless you buy it on gunbroker, etc. for a ridiculous price.
