? How to slug?
I'd like to slug one of my rifles and one of my six guns -- I've seen it mentioned 100 times here, but never seen a detailed description of how to do it. Can someone point me to good step-by-step or otherwise enlighten me? (Is it on Nate's DVD? I have it but I've never had a chance to watch it!) Reg...

Thanks! Great info. I'll have to get my Model 12 fixed (screwed up the ejector shooting express loads!).
I'm thinking I have to look into reloading these shotgun shells - the prices are getting rediculous.

mind telling where? The local stores charge $20 to as much as you want to spend for 16ga.Old Ironsights wrote:I just bought 350 rounds of 2-1/2" low-pressure 16ga shells.
$172 + shipping. But now I'll have proper hulls to reload...

I've got 2 I've enjoyed since day 1...
1 grandfather left me a 99 is 303 Savage - about as close to 30/30 as you can get I suppose... I'll count it. Shoots as steady as I can hold it.
1 grandfather gave me his 336 Marlin in 30/30 (tack driver).

MOVIES - Aces -n- Eights
I just watched this movie -- picked it up at Blockbuster. It's a rental only (i.e. it never made it to the big screen).
Not the best -- but if you have 2 hrs. to spend and your standards aren't too high -- it's worth it.
Not much a plot - but lots of lever and SAA shootin'.

This sounds like a good time -- I'm over in NW Houston.

Can anyone suggest a good location in the park? Huxley? Isla?
Thanks, Chad
