No recoil,
little muzzle flash,
easier to shoot accurately,
managable by smaller stature homo sapiens,
I will let you shoot a house clearing excersise with mine, you will be sold.

Rifle platform,
no more recoil than .22
ammo available,
short, light, easily manuverable,
you can not beat it.

I have a Marlin Camp Carbine in .45 ACP.
It is not for sale.
It does yeoman duty as a house gun.
I would recommend it above a shotgun ANY day.

I have a buckle from my brother and the old IHMSA days.
It is five .223 Rem. cases necked up to .30 caliber one on top of the other, pretty cool, yours if you want it.
