SST or interlock? I dont like the SST version as they arent as tough, seen one blowup on a elk shoulder and trying to shoot thru pin bone can be hard on any bullet. the RN 180 interlock has worked fine for me in a 99 sav so does the speer 180 RN hotcore. danny

it kinda depends on the terrain if I hunt dark timber I use a open sight 30-30 or 348, open terrain I use a 300 savage 99 with glass mostly hunt elk but have shot deer to. all these carry nice on a horse. danny
