410 fun.
Now I love my larger smooth bores but sometimes a wee 410 despite making no sense makes plenty sense! The pigeon are hitting the barley now but not in devastating numbers here so as Jess likes boiled pigeon I got under a few. A few good wing shots and a few ambushed from under their favourite trees ...

Yes bill a roll turn over bit for a drill.
The A2400 loads are just as potent as the h110 but more frugal by 2.5 gns.

Congratulations Nath, I have often been tempted by those sleek little Mossberg's  I never had a problem with any of the Mossberg's I've had over the years. They are cool John. I had a 12g when I was 18 and didn't appreciate it 🤦. I'm quit took with the mechanism actually. It's quite simple.

It took a while to sort this ones trigger. Still a shade to heavy for me but I'm doing ok with it. Probably 2+lbs. I should get one of those trigger weight measuring thingies. Anyway cured the rocking in the stock by adding pressure points under the barrel and action rear and improved reliability wi...

Boy this rifle is good. Using just a pinch of Herco under a 150gn unwanted spire point bullet it sure shoots. I shot at a 100yd plus rabbit just going over it. I aim again, rabbit only move a few hops, the fuzzy looking front sight a little lower and sneak just under him. Later I happened on a crow ...
