Re: Three powders for 99% of loads?

IMR 4227 and H4895. 4227 has been my most accurate for all pistol and reduced rifle loads, and H4895 for hotter rifle loads. I was also using SR4759, but 4227 beats it for accuracy. If you consider it works for all pistol and rifle shooting out to 200 yards, it could be the only powder I'd ever need...

Re: Heavy bullets in 38/357 or other 35 caliber loads ...

The Lee manual has some loads for 220 and 250 grainers in 35 Rem. Otherwise, can't you calculate the relative space in the case, and compare that to a known load? I did this when I was loading the Barnes 200 grain bullet in 35 Rem, and it worked fine. Rimfire McNutjob was kind enough to check it out...

COPS should have the right to ask for your identification, and in the event you fail to provide it, you should be arrested. People in Washington have always had the right to open carry, but, up until a few years ago, it would get you put on the ground, and arrested. Re: Ammo coming back..

Well I got the last two pounds of H4895 to hit the LA area, haven't touched them yet. Still have about 500 rounds of 22lr. And 10,000 primers. May be hurting for IMR 4227 before too long, but don't have much time to load or shoot, either. So it may last for that reason.

Nothing in the stores.
