Removal of Rossi 92 rear sight

Post by grahng »

I'm replacing the sight the rifle came with and seem to be having a little trouble removing the factory sight. I've tapped on it with a small brass rod and small hammer but it doesn't budge. Does it make a difference which direction to remove it? don't want to screw this thing up.
thanks

I recently replaced the sights on a Braztech Rossi 92. They required some healthy wacks to get them to move! 1886.
