Grizzly bite!

Post by GunnyMack »

So this morning I decided I was going to turn a bowl for a gift. As I'm roughing out the blank on my Grizzly band saw I got bit.
Off to a 24/7/365 doctors office.
Well they first tried to glue the knuckle flap back in place. I didn't make it down the hallway and it opened back up. Back in for stitches, 3 that turned into 4 stitches because the suture pulled through as the PA tried to tie it off. Probably my fault as I was joking around with the staff the whole time.
Anyway I can now honestly say I've been bit by a grizzly!

you ever see the movie "sniper" where the guy was caught and had his figure cut off with piano wire and a piece of wood? He got even when he escaped and shot his captors but had to use his middle finger to pull the trigger. Try that for a while.

Ouch!
So sorry, Gunny!

Prayers up for your speedy recovery and (at least I will pray for) complete use of that trigger finger again!

Once it has healed, get some Mother's Friend or any other stretch mark cream for pregnant women. Use it to prevent the skin from tightening up, which could affect trigger pull and accuracy. There items are found in the Family Planning section of any store with a Pharmacy.

Reminds me of an old Homesteader we knew in the Yukon, had half a finger missing, my little brother who was 6 at the time asked what happened to your finger Mr. Bonnar, he replied, " my wife bit it off". :|
