Three Old Maids...................

Post by Old No7 »

Another one from the local gun club...

Watch where you step!!!

Old No7

Three old maids died and arrived in heaven at the same time. When they got there, St. Peter said, "We only have one rule here in heaven: don't step on the ducks!" So they entered heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place... It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although they try their best to avoid them, the first woman accidentally stepped on one.

Along came St. Peter with the ugliest man she ever saw... St. Peter chained them together and said, "Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to spend eternity chained to this ugly man!"

The next day, the second woman accidentally stepped on a duck and along came St. Peter, who doesn't miss a thing. With him was another extremely ugly man. He chained them together with the same admonishment as for the first woman.

The third woman had observed all this and, not wanting to be chained for all eternity to an ugly man, was very, VERY careful wherever she stepped.

She managed to go for many months without stepping on any ducks, and then one day St. Peter came up to her with the most handsome man she had ever laid eyes on ... Very tall, dark hair, blue eyes and muscular.

St. Peter chained them together without saying a word, and simply walked away.

The happy woman said, "I wonder what I did to deserve being chained to you for all of eternity?"

And the blue-eyed guy said, "Well, I don't know about you... But I stepped on a duck!!!"

If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.
