Heavy 30-30 loads

None of my newer manuals have a listed load however some foljs suggested i check the older lyman manuals. If ya got one can you please check for me?

Projectile:
187 grain(with lube and gas check) cast with a brinell of 15.

Id prefer a load using 3031 but any load will do. Thabks folks.

My oldest Lyman manual is from 1951 and it tops out at a 171 gr. cast lead bullet. I checked my RCBS Cast Bullet Manual and it shows a 187 gr. cast lead RCBS bullet number 30-180-FN. Load data for IMR 3031 shows 26.0 gr. for 1816 fps, or 28.0 gr. for 1972 fps.

Not sure if this helps you or not, but the RCBS 30-180FN weighs out at 195gr for me using Lyman #2 lead. HTH

That's as good as I can get it. The book is RCBS Cast Bullet Manual number 1 which I found on Ebay for less than $20.
