Made in Fremont, Ca. I have had it five years today. Near this Picture is War Eagle Field and Apollo Park and Fox Field are in the back ground of the pics. Where there is a picture of the moon landing.

Interesting site for those interested in aviation history.

Taft? Wow, did you stop at the Cookhouse for a meal? My usual feeding spot when business hauls me up that way.

We ate at Paik's Ranch House - excellent food. We'll likely be there next year this time.

Hey, another Parrothead! Congratulations on getting out from under that yoke. Hope it feels half as good as when we made the final on the 4 Runner...

I've ridden in that truck! Its a nice little work horse and the AC works great in the high desert heat.

The "fate of the truck" seems uncertain right now with gas prices what they are. It will be interesting to see what design changes we see to make trucks more economical to own.

I'd like to see a small diesel engine with the currrent "18 wheeler" styling myself. The new hybrid stuff seems interesting but a diesel would be more traditional and practical for hauling.

Better yet a hybred diesel. You get the best of both worlds and you could use Bio Willy when you can find it.

I always wondered why someone hasn't built a diesel electric vehicle? It works on choo choo trains.

Rusty, that would last forever, use very little fuel, and drive the automakers and oil companies to distraction trying to figure out how to make you buy a new one.

Funny, but on my trip my old Volvo turned 200,000 as I went through Buttonwillow.

Which Buffet did you listen to, Warren or Jimmy?

CNJ - what year? I think I would wait to see if just a couple nickels would keep it going - just loooked that the new ones myself. Gas mileage is worse due to 500 more lbs. and the lack of the smaller 4 cyl option.
