Marlin 1894-New Skinner Sight(Ladder)

Post by HEAD0001 »

I wanted to order a peep sight for my new 1894 in 44 magnum. I was not happy with the way the Williams sight mounted on my other 1894. So I was looking for a new way to mount a new sight.

The fellows on the Marlin Forum suggested the Skinner Sight. I had never seen one first hand, but they really talked the guy up.

I looked at his new ladder sight for the 1894, and a bell went off. This sight was exactly what I wanted. So I ordered it on Sunday. He billed me through PayPal on Monday, and I received it on Thursday!! How can you beat that??

I do not have the sight mounted yet, and I do not have a picture of the sight yet. But you guys really need to check out this sight. It is a dandy. And the guy I bought it from is also FIRST CLASS. Tom.

I like the skinner sights on my Marlin 1894C .357 Magnum. They work really well. Which one is the Ladder sight? I'm not seeing one called that on his website. I have the 1894 Peep sight and front blade. Congrats on the new sight. :)
