MOVIES - Joe Kidd

Post by RIHMFIRE »

I just started watching Joe Kidd...
Great opening scene in the jail....
where Clint wraps the Mexican with the pot!
and here comes Robert Duvall....the land grabber....
with all the gunman......
Joe Kidd gets hired to track down the mexicans
and then turns on the land grabbers!
Pretty darn good flick!
and a lot of great shoot'n irons....Savage 99
LETS GO SHOOT'N BOYS

is a great show with a savage lever, then joe screws on his scope then pops bad guy at 1100 yards plus, whats not to like, no pun intended :)
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

It's one of my favorites; I remember seeing it at the drive-in when I was very young.

Ray your right about the broomhandle, Joe also swings the pottery jug on the rope and whacks the bad guy square in the melon:)
