Marlin 1894CL 218 Bee
Greetings all, and Happy New Year,
Does anyone here have experience with this rifle/cartridge combo?
I'm specifically interested in its accuracy potential, as well as its hunting applications; and would love to hear the experiences of others.

Yea, Good rifle. Mine shoots into an inch. I have nick named this rifle "Cat Rifle" for obvious reasons. It has taken its share of foxes too.---------Sixgun
BTW, your having a hard time making up your mind, I can see. Don't know if you want a 25-20 or a 218 Bee. If you want to know about the Marlin CL in 32-20, I can tell you in advance, that they too are great. It will save you from another post.

Yep Sixgun....I just need to make up my mind.
Re: Marlin 1894CL 218 Bee
I can only speak for the 1894CL, chambered in 32-20.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.
Re: Marlin 1894CL 218 Bee
I bought a 32-20 CL a few years back and fell in love with it instantly. I now have all three calibers the CL was chambered in. I have not done much loading for the 218 Bee, but I did kill a nice hen turkey with it last fall with factory ammo. It was a 40 yd shot placed just below the back of the neck, and it made a nice clean kill.

I'm really glad that's a picture of a fox. That could have gone the other way and gotten really ugly.
... I love poetry, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick.
