These two favorites are easily accessible. A couple of '86 LWs, .45-70 and .38-56WCF with 1/2 octagon barrel.

I have already replied once in this thread, but i figured i'd add some pics --- my Dad's .30-.30 (i inherited after his passing) is my fave by default, even if it has the dreaded receiver safety - oh well. I also mentioned my Henry .22, as it gets more rounds through it than anything in my possesion, it is pictured in the bottom cradle of the 3 gun rack. At top is a Remington 513-T Matchmaster --- it is mainly for conversational purposes as it is too nice to shoot a great deal ---

but there's my levers. Bottom photo is an unfired (no pun intended) Marlin 1895 GS in .45-70 that was anxiously awaiting its turn on the rack when my motor home caught fire. It likely would have replaced the Henry as my 2nd fave lever

No , that one wasn't me -- i was parked in South Texas when i had a thermostat malfunction on an unexpectedly cold night  Scary stuff ----- Check the dent in the magazine tube from a round cooking off  --- that is/was a strong rifle. But the whole place sounded like the 4th of July that night with roughly 150 large rifle cartridges, the same in pistol cartridges and a couple of 550 rd .22 LR fun packs going off. :D

My favourite has to be my Winchester 94 in .307 caliber. Everything about it looks, feels, handles and behaves just right. Topped with a Bushnell 4x32 scope, it has never let me down. I have taken numerous moose and caribou with it, mostly one-shot kills and, with factory ammo. Out to 200 yards and a bit, I wouldn't even think about using any other rifle.

So much for those experts who pretty much darned the whole thing while it was in production.

My 356Win 94 is just a sweetie. The Ruger #3 SS (sort of a lever gun) in 4570 loaded to Ruger only handloads is unbelievable..On both ends.Would like to see Mossberg bring out a 356 or 307 special run and see how they are snapped up. The 356's are achieving cult status. My 356 loaded to 2330fps with a RN 200gr bullet is a great combo.afish4570 :) :) :)

I've always had a thing for the 1892s.......seen myriads of em in the movies, have always been fascinated by the workings of their actions. I also like the way, with my short arms, I can cycle the action without bringing the rifle off my shoulder. It's very user-friendly for me. Plus, with handloads, I've got enough power in the .45 Colt chambering, to do anything I want to. Easy to carry & looks good, too. jd45

marlin 1897 .22lr, love the long barrel, globe front and accuracy for small game hunting. next up the 1892, but really close would be the 1893 marlin or 1886 winchester

I love my 1894 marlin in .357. It fits, shoots and very inexpensive to shoot and reload for. Coyotes out here in AZ do not want to come in closer than 100 yds with this gun in my hands!

It's a toss up between the Model 1873 and Model 1876 Winchesters.
