94 Legacy 44mag Price Check

Post by jdad »

The local shop has one, with the 24" round barrel & checkered pistol grip stock, for $599. It's got a few handling marks, in the wood, but is about 95%+ overall. There probably isn't that much, if any, negotiating room. Stuff does not stay on the shelf that long at all, in this shop lately.

Fair price?
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

I'd look for something cheaper.

That price is bordering a "NIB" specimen.

But, if it's something you really want and have been looking for one a while, I'd skip the rest of the looking and hoping and pick it up.

As far as 'new' or 'NIB' vs. 'used' I really never care - 24 hours after I get hold of them, they're 'used' anyway.

I think it's a pretty good price. That's about what they were new, and I've seen 30-30's and 45 colts on websites for $750 and up after Jan 2006.

I have the .357 and its a good gun, don't miss out.

If you want it buy it. I paid more than that last year and I wouldn't let mine go for what that shop is asking.

Of course, I'm a little attached to it  :
