No idea. depends on a lot of things. Location, wear, etc have a lot to do with it.
A gun that brings $600 in one State gets $300 in another.
Used guns are tough.
Where are you at, what kind of sale are you looking at (FTF/Pawn/Gun-store/etc...)?

Vulcan, I know that they were advertised when they first came out, but I've never seen (or heard from anyone else that has) a factory 24" barreled 454. You are the first. I'd always assumed that it was cataloged but never built. That happens quite a bit.
As far as price, I don't know what it should bring, because I didn't know any were ever built. If I had access to it, I would think it would be nearer the higher end of Old Ironsight's prices if not higher. I would pay $500 for such an animal and consider it a good deal.

New 20" ones go for around $500 to $600 around here.

I would think it would be quite valuable. I have never seen one. I have read the .454 has been discontinued. If this is true, any version will only climb in value. It is reasonable to assume that a rare configuration will only bring more. Please advise. Thanks, 1886.

I have never seen a Rossi 454 with a 24 in. barrel, In fact I don't believe Rossi made a 454 in anything but a 20 in. especially with the 22 style mag tube. With that in mind it would be tough to ascertain value. I have one of them and have some interest in them. I can say, if you could find one, in these parts, it would go for at least 600 bucks.

ME too neither. The 454's are drying up but I know where there are a few stainless gun, still. You can expect to pay about $550 to $600 on average for the 20" blue.
It's possible that if there is enough interest EMF will import the 454's.

I think you're probably right about how much it would bring.Mustang 22 wrote:I have never seen a Rossi 454 with a 24 in. barrel, In fact I don't believe Rossi made a 454 in anything but a 20 in. especially with the 22 style mag tube. They made them in 16", I know, I have one. Mine was a Davidson's limited run in stainless that I had Nate find for me, and work his magic on. I don't recall the total but it was more than $700 with the modifications. Later, the 16" was a normal cataloged item in the stainless version. I know a big outlet for 16" 454s was Sportsman's Warehouse, it was a standard(in all stores) stocked item (when they aren't backordered) in their store. It's still cataloged by Legacy but probably not much longer. I'm a little cash poor right now and if a 24" showed on an auction site, I'd probably bid higher than $500 but I'd not (likely) get it.
