my new toys
Thought I would post the photo now that I learned. The two lever guns were aquired this year. An 1894 32-40 made about 1920 and a Uberti in 45-60. The 45-60 is one of the funest guns I have. The flinter is my daughters favorite deer rifle. She took her first deer with it at age thirteen. Her other is a Winchester 64.

Re: my new toys
I bought the flinter for myself and I got my daughter started shooting it. Then she started calling it her rifle. So dad had to go and get himself another one.

Gotta say you've have some purty rifles there. Interesting though, you must have some steep hills with the way that tree is growing horizontal.

Re: my new toys
Very nice toys. I like all of them. I'm really torn between the flinter and the '76. I really want a '76 in 45/60, just haven't gotten the funds up yet.

Re: my new toys
That '76 really caught my eye as an original has eluded me all my life. Its the only model from the '66 on I have never been able to snag.
Yours has really nice wood on it too. Can I have it? ----------Sixgun

Re: my new toys
What caliber and barrel length are the long rifle? That is some serious wood on there.

Re: my new toys
C. Cash the barrel on the flinter is 38" and its a swamped barrel also. A very light and well ballanced rifle. Mine has a 45" barrel on it and is almost as light. Sorry it took so long for me to reply but I've been out of town.
Re: my new toys
