I know my wife Brenda is flying her Maple Leaf today. Funny that before I came into her life she rarely gave thought to her Canadian patriotism. I'll be home on July 4tj and will fly Old Glory and my Gadsden flag.

Thank you rjohns94, changed my flag for a brand new one as I do 1st July every year
My younger daughter and her husband and two boys are headed our way from a vacation further north for a BBQ and beer to celebrate Canada's 142nd birthday, should be fun

Thanks for the good wishes. Nothing special planned, my son and his girl friend coming over this afternoon. Probably a BBQ and a few cold ones and just relax.
Happiness is a comfortable stump on a sunny south facing mountain.

Thanks for the good wishes. I had to work today but they are going to let me celebrate with a long weekend. Suits me fine!!
