awesome day in the SoCal desert

Post by new pig hunter »

yet another superb picture-perfect-postcard day .... difficult to believe such a thang hasn't actually been legislated away in The Sheeple's Republik of Kali .....

out shooting with a retired Army helo pilot pal of mine. Over 2,000 rounds sent downrange, of various calibers.

Of particular note for this forum: my Winchester Trapper leveraction in .45LC rarely missed anything on the ground between 25 and 100 yards, using Ten-X "cowboy load" 250-gr-lead-bullet ammo.

Cheers,

Carl

How are we suppose to believe it was a picture perfect day without pictures?

Glad you had a good time.

Kalifornication.

Beautiful state with the worst government in the union - or close to it.

That's funny coming from the state that holds San Francisco.... and is about 1/2 Mexican...

Serously, its a darned shame that things are so screwed up there. We have our gowing population of illegals too.

I am hoping that a real conservative will step forward for the next election - and we get a Gov that will institute an illegal expulsion plan.

You don't really want to compare Kali to Texas do you? I mean, where is Pelosi from again? Oh yeah. Barbara Boxer? Ouch.

Just a few things to think about:
State Income Tax (TX has none)
Gun Control Laws...
Cost of Living...
$10Billion rainy day fund (what does Kali have? Oh yeah  )...
Castle Doctrine Law...
Death Penalty...
Hunting restrictions....
Crime rates...
Jobs...

The only thing that Kali has over Texas is the geography - and weather is nicer there mostly.

Seriously guys. None of that gives me any joy. I would really like to see everybody from every state enjoy at least the level of freedom that we have in Texas.

Check out Arizone for gun friendly. and wide open spaces to blast away with out toys. castle doctrine, if you use your gun for defense, they have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that you DID NOT have reason to fear for your life. a ccw can display his weapon if necessary to prevent trouble without fear of legal bs. Just across the river from so cal,

There's always Wyoming. Tough country, with the hide & bark still on it, and harsh enough to keep out most of the riff-raff (except for the rich, part-timers in Jackson...)

No, don't even think about movin' here. You more'n likely couldn't take it, and we're runnin' short on water. ( We make most of it, and Montana steals it...)
