I need some help. WTK

Post by Nate Kiowa Jones »

Does anyone have pictures of old lever guns with bolt mounted peep sights. I know there was one made one for the 86/71 but I have done a search and can't find any other guns with the bolt peeps. Did they ever mount them on the 92's or 94's? I did read where they did mount them on the 55. I'm looking for historical precedence.

NKJ,

I have some pics of a Win 94 bolt (no rifle, just bolt) with a bolt mounted peep sight on it. They are not the best pics, no real close ups.
You want them in your email or here?

There's was a picture of a 65 in Bee with the bolt peep on GunBroker I believe. Nice option for a Bee.

Here's a blurry photo of a brochure for the 65 in Bee that has a bolt peep on the gun.

Here's another of a gun for sale that has a very clear view of the bolt peep on the Model 65.

Whatever you got I appreciate guys. The picture of the used 65 helps for sure. What I'm trying to figure out is just how far back these bolt mounted peep sights date to.
Joe shoot me an email.

FWIW: From what I understand, ALL Model 65's in 218 Bee came standard with the bolt-mounted peep.
