Post by cshold »

Well the Win. Model 70 .243 is officially broken in. :)
Took this nice button buck this Wed. morning 2 dec. 09.
One shoot with a Federal 100 gr. soft point at about 50 yds.
Deer went about 30 yds. DOA.

Hey there casastahle - Nice job. I have the cheaper 670, but it shoots great too. Obviously you are a classy hunter, what with bringing a body bag for a deer and all!!! I like it! Best regards. Wind

LOL Wind, :D
Those hitch hauler’s are about the coolest invention IMHO.
I use it yr. round. I can get two nice size coolers in that bag
For cookouts and so many other uses.

Very nice indeed.

I've gone full circle in middle age back to the .243 Win (Browning A-bolt). It does what I need done and is a delight to shoot.

Thanks Ravenman,
I do love my little yuppie Jeep Wrangler, bought it new in 95.
Told my wife I will put classic tags on it one day. :)
