OT- Since aperture sights have been brought up, CZ452?

Post by awp101 »

I have a CZ452 (one of the trainer models IIRC) and I think it needs a peep sight. Since I'm only here today until the warranty service guy leaves, my mind is turning and wondering if there's one out there.

Brownell's doesn't show anything and I can't access Midway or RFC from work. Anyone know for sure yea or nay?

Thanks!

Not an answer, but how come you can get Brownell's but not MidwayUSA - is that some sort of web filter that thinks Brownell's is 'different' than MidwayUSA...?

I have no idea. I can go here, gew88.com, and Savage Shooters but I can't go to gunsnet or RFC. I think I can even get to The FAL Files. Midway is blocked but Brownell's isn't.

Do you remember the radio call letters and the program they were going to run that night?

Williams makes one specifically for the CZ452/453 series, but only available from CZ. It mounts on the dovetail.

Here is some info and based on it I would call CZ ASAP.

Thanks jdad, I may have to call next week but if I have to leave a message all bets are off. I'm still waiting for a return call from July...

This looks like a neat alternative if the Williams is sold out: http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/sh ... p?t=313688

I'm not crazy about the front sight set-up, I hope the original hood could be used even though it doesn't mimick the Garand/AR sight picture. It's close enough in price to the Williams that if I can still order the FP I will. If I can't the Tech Sight will do for a plan B.
