Photo Engraved finish on Uberti Revolvers
Anyone out there have one of these revolvers? How does that finish look and seem to hold up?
Looks pretty cool.

You wouldn't by any chance have a link to a picture of one of these would you? I'm not familiar with 'em.

That's kinda purty. I'd change the grips to American Holley and would prefer a 4 3/4" barrel though.

I have a 5 1/2" SA (Taylor's) with that treatment on a "white" finish, with one-piece wood grips. It's my Sunday-go-to-meetin' and BBQ gun...

I hope you dont mean like on this uberti made general george s patton commemertive made for the American Historical Fondation? These were super exspendsive. Last price I think close to $3,000 was asked! They are silver plated, not nickle. I was lead to belive they were hand engraved.
I bought mine cheap on some deal used/new years ago but never shot it.

No Booger Bill, I believe he's referring to a different product. A few hundred dollar premium over their stock "P" (SAA clone) model)--at least in Cimarron speak--at most, street price. They are actually quite nice, but I've also had the question of "how deep" (I think just superficial etching at the price) and regarding longevity. Also, does anyone do this aftermarlet as well?.

The "white" finish on my Taylor's is just that.. The case colors have been chemically erased from the frame, and the rest of the parts are unblued, with the exception of the screws -- all of 'em -- and the base pin --all nitre blued, BTW, and the replacement CCH hammer I installed to get rid of the stupid D-block safety.

I bought a pair of this Uberti Laser Engraved model in 4.75" last year and put new grips on to replace the black plastic ones. They shoot fine and bear up well under Cowboy Fast
