I usually cry when I see Sporterized Enfields but both "Bubba's" and Hobie's are very nice looking guns, I must admit.
I'm fascinated by those wildcat chamberings mentioned too and would love to try one. I have a Savage-made #4 Mk 1* that has all matching parts and after rescuing it from its "cosmolined" condition is too nice to modify. Its a keeper.
I named it Old Savage on behalf of our own wiley forum member and my personal friend.
I had a ball trigger from Huber Concepts put in it but otherwise it is original and shoots very well.
