Here's me and my four helpers....I shot the buck 1/2 hour before sundown, by the time I dragged it to the trail and gutted it, it was dark. My four kids (and my wife) made the two-mile trek into the woods with flashlights to see 'Daddy's deer' and help me bring it out.

Of course, 'help' meant my 12-yr old carrying a 6-lb rifle and complaining it was heavy while I toted 150-lb + of deer on my back in a fireman's carry for two miles....LOL. Great kids.

"Speed or Turbo" goat.

Some of the most delicious venison you'll ever eat if they're killed quickly. Almost like a semi-sweet chocolate. Chase them all over the place and I'd rather eat tumble-weeds.

that is some wide open country. My dad told me about pronghorn hunts when he was stationed at Chenute (sp).
He said he could crawl a half-mile to get a 400-yd shot.

When Jim Taylor was setting this site up for Paco years ago, he emailed me wanting a pic with leverguns. I am not much for pics, but I got a couple of leverguns sat my fannie on the end of the bed and gave The Beloved Redhead a camera.
