clung to my pants leg and would not

Post by two bit okie »

I was at my favorite gun shop and this 1969 mod 94 jumped out of the rack and clung to my pants leg and looked at me such pleading eyes that I could not leave in the rack. Swapped an unused and not wanted ruger blackhawk and 50 bucks. near 98% needs only to be shot.

two bit okie,

Yep, that's a Mdl 94 alright, I recognize the family resemblance.

Unused, as in not even played with. You know how I know? There's no worn areas on the hammer. Never seen a used one without some wear on the hammer.

Cool find, congratulations.

Are you going to shoot it,

I agree about it being unfired- there is no wear on the hammer or scratching from rounds being inserted into the loading gate.

There would not be too many unfired 1969 mod 94's around.

Got a few tiny spots of rust by the dovetail on the rear sight, but that doesn't take a thing away.

Don't you just want to hold a new gun?

Nice catch!

Cool! 94's of that age will do the job. May lack a little of the glamour, but can do the work.
